Manchester United are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Lyon’s teenage talent Florent Da Silva, according to French publication L’Equipe.
The young starlet who has already appeared for France’s U16 team, has been attracting a lot of interest from Europe’s top clubs.
Da Silva is yet to sign his first-ever professional contract with Lyon and United already said to be waiting in the wings for the youngster’s signature. The talks between the two clubs have reached an advanced stage for the teenager, with the player yet to decide where his future lies.
As stated by L’Equipe, Da Silva is ‘thinking about the best project.’
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is trying hars to hold on to Da Silva, who is yet to train with Lyon’s first-team. The French outfit also recently secured the future of Rayan Cerki, a 15-year-old academy striker, by offering him a professional contract. They intend to do the same.
