Manchester United look to lose out on a major transfer as Mangala seems to be closer to a deal at Manchester City. The Frenchman has been a major transfer target for many premiership sides, but City’s financial power could be too much for the reds to compete with.
City have been desperatly searching for a quality partner for Vincent Kompany, and have Roma’s Mehdi Benatia lined up if a deal for the Porto man falls through. However, it is yet to be seen if Mangala will follow ex team mate Fernando to the Etihad.
United don’t look scared to splash the cash either this window with two deals done so far and over £60 million spent.
