Manchester United have made a formal bid for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, believed to be around £27.7million.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move for the Colombian international, and interest in him shot-up after a superb World Cup with his national side, and United were joined with Arsenal and Liverpool in monitoring Cuadrado’s future.
According to reports in Spain, United have made the formal offer to Fiorentina and they are now awaiting for their answer, but they may face serious competition from FC Barcelona, who are also very keen on landing the 27-year-old.
It’s believed a £27.7m offer may be enough to see Louis Van Gaal land his third major Summer signing.
