James Wilson scores a cracker for Derby
Manchester United loanee James Wilson has proved to Jose Mourinho that he does have something to offer after scoring a fantastic goal for Derby last night.
Wilson joined the Rams on a season long loan in the summer, with his United career appearing to be over.
Since moving to Pride Park, the 20-year-old has had few opportunities to impress, making just four appearances in the Championship since the start of the season.
However, the England U21 international stepped up in last night’s Checkatrade Trophy clash against Doncaster with a stunning solo effort.
The striker’s goal wasn’t enough to win the game for Derby as they eventually lost 4-2 on penalties.
