Manchester United have been trying to sign Mats Hummels for the past 2 years but have so far failed in their attempts.
However, they are prepared to make a take it or leave it offer of £20million for the Borussia Dortmund centre back.
It has been claimed that Hummels is happy at Dortmund but he could be tempted with a mega contract offer.
Following the departures of Vidic and Ferdinand, United are in desperate need of some new centre backs and have been linked with the likes Stefan De Vrij and Thomas Vermaelen, but Hummels is the top target for the English giants.
