Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has been one of the best defenders in the ongoing World Cup in Russia. He scored his first international goal in the quarter-final and provided the assist for England’s winner against Tunisia. Maguire is a heavy contender to be in the Team of the Tournament.
His performances have made him a sought after property and England’s biggest club Manchester United are willing to sign him. The Red Devils have prepared a bid of £50 million which is almost thrice as much as his fee when Leicester City signed him from Hull City. However, Leicester City’s owners will definitely try to keep him as his presence will certainly fortify their backline. He was Leicester City’s best player last season, playing 38 matches and scoring two goals.
