According to reports, European powerhouse Real Madrid are preparing to submit a transfer bid of £150 million for Eden Hazard. The Belgium captain has been one of the hottest properties in Europe for quite some time and a terrific performance at the World Cup has made him even more sought after now. So far, the Chelsea winger has scored two goals and has provided as many assists in the competition. His final game of the World Cup will come tomorrow at Saint Petersburg as England take on Belgium in the 3rd place playoff.

Los Blancos believe that he is the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who went to Juventus a few days back.

Hazard has another two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are eager for the Belgian to sign a new long-term with the club. One of the reasons why Chelsea are keen to rope in Maurizio Sarri as their manager is because they believe that he can persuade Hazard to stay.

So far, Chelsea have not been able to convince Hazard to stay at Stamford Bridge despite offering him £300,000 weekly. Hazard’s comments of admiration for Real Madrid in Russia has encouraged the club to submit a bid for him.
