Manchester United set to spend a huge £160million

It is reported that the Glazers are ready to give Louis Van Gaal the go ahead to spend up to £160million on bringing potential targets to Old Trafford.

Manchester United missed out on the Champions League this season after only finishing in 7th place last season and it is felt the Glazers are willing to spend whatever they need to as long as United get back in to the Champions League.

Rumours have been circulating recently with names such as Kevin Strootman, Mats Hummels and Gareth Bale reportedly all Manchester United targets.

The Sunday Express Sport reported that Manchester United will be the ones who bring Bale back to England with reports that Bale is missing his family.  The Bale deal would cost United £86million pound which would smash the clubs previous highest spend of £59.7million for old team mate Angel Di Maria.

Mat Hummel’s who is a long term target for Van Gaal would cost United £50million in a deal that seems highly likely and with Roma’s early exit from the Champions league, it seems they will sell Strootman for £30million.

All these deals will however not happen until the end of the season, with all respective clubs wanting to keep hold of their players until then.
