Manchester United have completed the signing of Southampton starlet Luke Shaw for a whopping £30million.
The 18-year-old left-back was one of the star performers for The Saints last season, and due to his impressive displays, Premier League giants; Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all declared their interest in the full-back.
With Shaw being a boyhood Chelsea fan, it was speculated that the teenager would move to Stamford Bridge to replace Ashley Cole, but it’s United that have won the race to land the youngster and have today confirmed the deal, making him the most expensive teenager in football.
The England international, who played once in this Summer’s World Cup, completed his medical in Carrington today, and will be revealed as a United player later this afternoon.
