Matthias Ginter is currently playing for Freiburg in the the Bundesliga and the 20 year-old centre back was scouted by David Moyes in his side’s recent match against Hertha Berlin.
Great things are expected of the player who has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
This is what Ginter has had to say about the rumours of a potential move to Old Trafford:
“If it is true, then I am of course honoured and excited.
“However, there is a long way to go to the summer.”
The player has been building up a good amount of experience as he has featured for the Freiburg first team on 69 occassions and has already gained some European experience at the tender age of 20.
The probability of David Moyes making a move for the player this summer is likely as he looks to make huge changes to a declining side and with Vidic already confirming that he will be leaving this summer and Ferdinand possibly approaching retirement, this could be a deal to look out for in the summer as he is a player of huge potential and he seems keen on the move.
