Mourinho chasing David Alaba
Manchester United are thought to be targeting a move for Bayern Munich star David Alaba.
Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his defence at Old Trafford and finds a move for Alaba the ideal one.
United will have to compete with Real Madrid for Alaba’s services, reports are suggesting, and it’s thought they scouted the Austrian twice during the international break.
Mourinho also wants Alaba’s Austria team-mate, Julian Baumgartlinger, with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin set to leave.
His form for Bundesliga giants Bayern has seen him earn recognition on the international stage.
And now United are thought to be very interested in making a move next summer.
