Manchester United manager David Moyes is ready to offer centre-back Nemanja Vidic a 12-month extension in order to stay at Old Trafford.
The club-captain is out of contract this Summer, and there are fears that the Serbian might not put pen to paper at United and may seek a move away from England alltogether with both Galatasaray and Monaco interested in him.
Moyes is desperate not to lose Vidic as he already faces losing Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra in the Summer as both their contract expire as well, and it is reported that the manager has told the club’s board to make one last contract offer to the 32-year-old.
It is believed that the club will offer Vidic a 12-month extension worth ÂŁ90k-a-week.
