The Red Devils are reportedly wanting to seal the signature of Zlatan Ibrahimovic before the start of Sweden’s Euro 2016 campaign.
Manchester United are understood to be very keen to wrap up a deal for the 34-year-old mega star in the next 24 hours, or they face waiting until the end of the EURO tournament.
It had was claimed that Ibrahimovic’s move to United could be delayed due to the player’s demand to bank up a bonus payment from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem as United believe that they can finalise a deal quickly, this all according to the Manchester Evening News.
Zlatan is now a free agent after letting his contract with PSG run out, and could be a Red Devil by the time he kicks off for Swedens’s upcoming European Championship opener against the Republic of Ireland.
In what looks to be one of the most talked about transfer dramas, it has already been claimed that the big Swede has now bought a house in the Manchester area, though his national team boss has ruled out any prospect of a deal being done before Euro 2016 as he won’t allow the player to leave the camp and fly to England at this stage.
