Manchester United won’t allow Robin Van Persie to leave

Manchester United officials will block any potential move that could see striker Robin Van Persie leave the club this Summer.

The Dutchman is reportedly unhappy at the club after numerous promises have been broken between the two parties and also his family are having issues in Chesire as well, which could see the 29-year-old leave the club after just two years there.

However, despite being unhappy at the club, officials at United will refuse to let the Dutchman leave and due to him having two years left on his current contract, it looks like the ball is in United’s court.

After having a less than effective game against Greek side Olympiacos on Tuesday night, Van Persie ripped into his team-mates and claimed that all they do is get in his way and move to where he should be, and these comments have raised eyebrows about the unity at Old Trafford right now.

Reports broke earlier in the season that promises were broken between the two parties as RVP was told that both Sir Alex Ferguson and Rene Meulensteen were going to be at the club for the forseeable future, but one year later, they had both left.

Other than that, Van Persie’s family are also struggling in Chesire and want a move back to London, which has sparked rumours of a shock return to Arsenal, the club he left in dramatic fashion in order to join United.

Since that move, RVP has quickly become a hated figure on one side of North London, and it isn’t sure whether or not the fans would take him back at the club he betrayed.
