Roberto Mancini considering Arsenal managerial job

The Italian is apparently the top candidate to replace Arsene Wenger when he leaves

Roberto Mancini could end up as the next Arsenal manager, according to reports.

The current boss of Inter is reportedly one of the main candidates to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal when the Frenchman ends his time at the club. Many believed that time could be coming soon, only for the man himself to claim that he expects to be at the Emirates Stadium next season.

However, after yet another season with seemingly no league title and after being knocked out of the Champions League rather early on, the decision might be out of his hands if the board decide they want a change.

Would be willing to leave Inter Milan

If they do, then it could very well be Mancini who takes the reigns.

He is currently the boss of Inter Milan in Serie A but reports claim he would be willing to leave that job if the managerial position at the Gunners became vacant.

Mancini does of course have Premier League experience, as he guided Man City to the Premier League title as manager back in 2011/12 and he also bagged them the FA Cup and Community Shield too.

With this experience, could Arsenal be willing to get rid of long-serving Wenger and bring in the Italian?
