Real Madrid are set to secure the £20 million signing of Borussia Dortmund’s attacking-midfielder, Marco Reus, El Confidencial reports.
Reus is set to pen a lucrative five-year deal at the Bernanbeu, ahead of the move which is set to take place in the summer.
Madrid officials reportedly flew to Germany in December to outline plans for Reus’ move to the Spanish capital.
The 25-year-old German international has rejected interest from the Premier League, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in favour of a switch to La Liga.
However, Real have triggered the release clause for the Dortmund man, and are to fully secure the deal once he recovers from a serious ankle injury he sustained.
