Dortmund star Marco Reus has reportedly turned down a move to Manchester United.

The German has been tipped to leave Dortmund this summer. Along with United, it is thought that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in the midfielder. There is also interested from German champions Bayern Munich. Bayern have already signed Mario Gotze and Robert Lewendowski from their rivals, and now it is thought that manager Guardiola wants Reus to join them.

Reports in Spain also claimed that Atletico Madrid have made an offer for Reus worth around ÂŁ25million as Diego Simeone looks to keep hold of the title after Barcelona and Real Madrid made a number of high-profile signings.

However, club president Enrique Cerezo has claimed that Reus will be staying put this summer as he has already turned down the opportunity to link up with Louis Van Gaal at Old Trafford.

He said: “I don’t know where the Marco Reus rumour came from. It’s a player who, at this time, is impossible to us.

“Look, he had an offer for a lot of money from Manchester United and he has not gone… we will not sign him with a lesser offer”.
