Mario Balotelli has taken to his official Instagram account to make a promise to Liverpool fans.
The Italian has struggled during his short career at Anfield, scoring just once since arriving from AC Milan in a deal worth £16million, but despite the lack of goals, Liverpool fans have still made a banner in the striker’s honour.
The banner that Reds fans have made has a picture of Balotelli on the side, with the caption: ‘I have nothing to declare but my genius.’
Despite struggling to show his ‘genius’ during his return to England, the 23-year-old has sent this message out to the fans: “I have nothing to declare except my genius? Wow thanks to whoever did this. I know all of you expect more from me .. More goals especially and more “genius” but give me time and I’ll show is true.”
