Premier League predictions for weekend

BBC pundit thinks crucial game at Goodison will end in a draw. BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has once again revealed his predictions for this weekend’s Premier League matches.

What are your thoughts on these scores?

Manchester City 2-0 Southampton

“Southampton have been playing well and I can understand why some people see this as a potentially tricky game for Manchester City, but I still think Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be too strong for Saints.”

Aston Villa 2-0 Fulham

“For a few of them, the future looks bright, but it is the present that Fulham have got to worry about.”

Cardiff City 1-1 Crystal Palace

“I am thinking this will end up in a draw, which will suit the Eagles down to the ground. A point is no good for Cardiff.”

Hull City 2-1 Swansea City
“I am backing Hull to get it here, despite them only taking three points from their last five games and playing a bit indifferently of late.”
Newcastle United 1-2 Manchester United
“Manchester United are not that far ahead of them in the table, and lost to Newcastle at Old Trafford in December, but they have got the best away record in the Premier League and I am expecting that to continue.”
Norwich City 2-1 West Bromwich Albion
“Norwich have a good habit of winning the games that they really need to against the teams around them in the table and I think they will do that again on Saturday.”
Chelsea 2-0 Stoke City
“The Potters are probably pretty confident of another positive result this time, but I am backing Jose Mourinho’s men to get their revenge at the weekend.”
Everton 1-1 Arsenal
“I don’t see a Toffees win, though. And I still think Arsenal will finish fourth. Like Manchester United, the Gunners have not suddenly become a poor team overnight. They have the quality to qualify for the Champions League places, again.”
West Ham United 1-2 Liverpool
“Good teams find a way to win games and the way the Reds are at the moment, I am backing them to win this one.”
Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Sunderland
“There are a lot of doubts over Spurs right now, but they should still be too strong for a Sunderland side who have lost their way in recent weeks and are in a lot of trouble after taking just one point from their last six games.”
What do you reckon then? Is Lawrenson correct with his predictions?
