Aaron Ramsey is hoping to return to the Arsenal first team fold for the Gunners trip to Everton in a crucial Barclays Premier League fixture.

The 23 year old Welsh international has not played since the Boxing Day win at West Ham United, in a fixture in which he suffered a thigh injury.

Impressive Ramsey scored 13 League goals in the first half of the campaign, with his return a real boost for the Gunners, in their fading title chase.

Ramsey is in line for a return against a superb Everton side, with the game being seen as nw a 4th place decider.

Manager Arsene Wenger stated in his pre match interview ahead of Sunday’s televised game….

“Aaron and Nacho Monreal are back training with the squad, so that is good news. Hopefully they will be available for Sunday. Diaby is back on the pitches, so that is good news,” said Wenger.
