Chelsea midfielder, Marko Marin, is finally set to end his disastrous career in West London by sealing a loan-move to Belgium side, Anderlecht.
The 25-year-old has started a mere five games for The Blues since his arrival back in 2012 and is now ready to leave the club with some reports already suggesting a medical has taken place.
Chelsea paid £7million to Werder Bremen to sign the midfielder, but he has failed to develop and has struggled to get regular game-time under Jose Mourinho, and he’s now set to seal a loan-move away from the club until the end of the season.
After being told about his squad role for the forthcoming season, Marin was loaned out in August to Serie A side, Fiorentina, but after just a few months, they terminated the deal after being less than impressed with the midfielder.
However, he hasn’t had to wait long to secure another move away as Anderlecht are prepared to take him on until the end of the season.
The loan deal will have an option to buy in the Summer if Marin can impress.
