Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini hails Jose Mourinho insisting he would do everything for his manager.
Courtesy to a Fellaini winner in the added time United got past Young Boys to book a place in the Champions League knock out phase. Mourinho’s side looked pretty sloppy in the attacking third and it was Fellaini who once again came to rescue for the Red Devils.
Mourinho fought for Fellaini’s contract extension against all odds and the result has been quite fascinating. The former Everton midfielder has been one of Mourinho’s loyal disciples and has been used quite regularly by the gaffer whenever he needed his influence in a match.
Fellaini said, “I feel comfortable. I’m happy with him. He gives me a lot of confidence and he trusts me. That’s important for a player. I try to pay him back on the pitch.
“I always try to give everything for the team. Whether I start or not, everybody knows I’m a team player. The most important thing is to take the points and win the games.”
“I’ve never had a problem with a manager. When a manager comes, I give everything for him.”
