Borussia Dortmund centre-back admits he’s unsure where his future lies
Chelsea and Liverpool have been put on red-alert after Mats Hummels admitted he’s not sure where his future lies.
The Borussia Dortmund centre-back has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Liverpool both interested, and in a recent interview, he’s admitted that he’s unsure where he’ll be next season.
Hummels has just one year left on his contract at Dortmund, sparking speculation that he could be set to end his long-term association with the Bundesliga club.
The 27-year-0ld has been with Dortmund since 2008, but speaking after Germany lost 3-2 to England, he admitted that he’s uncertain regarding his club future.
Hummels Considering Future
“I have to find out for myself what I want to do,” he told German outlet ZDF.
“I hesitate to make a decision now but I’m thinking about it a lot.”
Both Chelsea and Liverpool are believed to be in the market for a new central-defender, but the Reds could have the edge due to being managed by Jurgen Klopp.
