Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that he wants to ruin Arsene Wenger’s anniversary by beating his side tonight at the Liberty Stadium, but the Swans boss is wary of the threat The Gunners pose.

Wenger is celebrating 17-years at Arsenal this month and has become the Premier League’s longest-serving manager still in the job after Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement in the summer.

Times look good for the Frenchman at the moment, which didn’t look likely after they lost 3-1 to Aston Villa on the opening day of the season and had failed to sign anybody.

But several wins later and Mesut Ozil’s arrival, Wenger is enjoying his time at the moment, but Laudrup wants to end the good times at the Emirates.

The Dane said: ‘We will try to spoil his party. We are at home and we really want to go on as we have picked up seven points from our last three league games. We are playing really well so we want to continue that.

‘But you never know if that is enough against these big teams as they have players who can change the game in a second.

‘Santi Cazorla isn’t there but players like Ozil and Wilshere are, and Ramsey has also made a good start to the season. There are players there we have to keep an eye on. Even if we are doing well, in one second they can win the game for Arsenal.’
