According to a report from the Telegraph, Conte is looking to replace Michy Batshuayi in January

The Telegraph claim, Chelsea wish to upgrade Morata’s understudy and three players are up for consideration.

Despite failing to hit the back of the net this season, Conte is believed to be an admirer of Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke.

The Belgian striker suffered a knee injury against Manchester City in September but is expected to return in November.

The Telegraph also say that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been considered by Chelsea in the past, whilst the club are also believed to be scouting Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye – who was signed by Conte during his time at Juventus.

Meanwhile, Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham is another contender with the lad netting a goal for Swansea in their Premier League win over Huddersfield on Saturday however, it’s understood he cannot be recalled.
