Arsenal will test Southampton’s resolve by offering £15 million for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the Metro.
The Frenchman is believed to be high on the list of transfer target for Arsene Wenger, who is keen to bolster his current squad for the rest of the season.
Francis Coquelin is currently deployed as the central midfielder in the spine of the Arsenal side, however the North-London outfit are keen to secure the services of his compatriot Schneiderlin.
Ongoing reports suggest that the Gunners are admirers of the 25-year-old midfielder, who has impressed for his high-flying Southampton side this season, having made 20 appearances for the South-Coast side.
And Arsenal are keen to land the midfielder in the summer, with Schneiderlin previously stating his discontent at St Mary’s.
