United manager elect ready to bring Diarra to Old Trafford
It’s thought that Jose Mourinho is looking to bring Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra to Manchester United should he take over at Old Trafford this summer.
Diarra, who was with Mourinho at both Chelsea and Real Madrid, is playing well in France and is still thought to be well-admired by the the Special One. Mourinho is widely expected to replace Louis van Gaal at United this summer and Diarra could turn out to be one of his first signings.
However, Marseille boss Vincent Labrune is desperate for Diarra to remain with the Ligue 1 club for the forthcoming season so United may have a fight on their hands.
It’s understood the Red Devils’ Premier League rivals West Ham are also very keen on the highly-rated France international.
