Samir Nasri is all set to sign a new deal at Manchester City, when he returns to pre-season next week.

Nasri’s current deal at the club only has the one year to run, and it is thought that City are keen to offer him a new four year deal.

The 27 year old enjoyed a fine season as City won their second Premier League title, with Nasri scoring seven goals in 34 games.

But following a fine club campaign, he was not selected for France’s World Cup squad for the finals in Brazil.

Nasri signed for City from Arsenal in the summer of 2011, with then manager Roberto Mancini paying ÂŁ25 million for his services.
