Neymar has brought an end to the future of his speculation by committing to PSG.
The world’s most expensive player moved to Paris from Barcelona back in 2017. However, Neymar’s time at the club since then has been filled with controversy and best as he repeatedly made it clear of his desire to return to Barcelona.
With the transfer rumors hitting the peak last summer, it seems to have cooled down with the Brazilian committing to PSG.
“My future? I have a contract with PSG, and I will be staying there.”
“It would be very difficult for me to face Barca in the Champions League,” he said, per the same source. “I speak with almost all the Barca players and still miss them. They are very good friends and they are very good players, so I would be happy to face them in that regard, but not as a club.”
With Neymar set to stay, Lionel Messi could now have an added incentive to choose PSG after alerting Barcelona of his decision to leave the club. The Argentine superstar is friends with Neymar and one of the many reasons of Messi falling out with Bartomeu at Barcelona was the President’s false promises of bringing Neymar to the club.
