N’Golo Kante becomes PSG prime target this summer

Paris Saint Germain has made Kante their priority target this summer.

The French and Chelsea midfielder who has been representing France in the ongoing world cup has said to be the priority target for the French club. According to reports from L’Equipe, the PSGs Director is very eager to sign the midfielder.

N’Golo Kante was a part of the French side Caen in his initial days. He was the part of the club for 2 years before moving to Premier League side Leicester City. Kante represented Caen for 82 matches where he scored 6 goals.

Kante joined the Foxes on 3rd August on a 4-year contract and an undisclosed fees of €8 million (£5.6 million). He made his debut on 7th August against Sunderland as a substitute for Jamie Vardy in the final 8-minutes which resulted in a 4-2 win for the side. While he waited for 3 months to register his first Premier League goal against Watford which resulted in a 2-1 win over the Hornets. He was one of the key member which helped Leicester city win the Premier league that year.

Kante was signed for Chelsea over a reported fee of £32 million in July 2016. It was a 5-years deal with the Blues. The Midfie;der made his debut for the blues on 15th August while his first goal for the Blues came against the Red Devil. The match resulted in a 4-0 win over the Devils. Kante was already an important part of the Blues when they won the Premier League in 2016-17.

Kante became the first player since Eric Cantona to win back-to-back Premier League trophies with 2 different clubs.

KantĂ© was nominated for the Ballon d’Or that year for his exceptional tackles and interceptions. He was also a part of the PFA Team of the Year for 2 consecutive season. Later he was also named the PFA Player of the Year, Premier League Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year that year.

Kante will be representing France when they take on Uruguay on Friday.
