Despite all the rumoured interest surrounding Sporting Lisbons William Carvalho, chairman Bruno de Carvalho has revealed there’s been no bids from Arsenal or Manchester United
The 22 year old midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the premier league with Arsenal reportedly closing in with a 24 million bid, Manchester United also showing interest.
Arsenal remain favourites to sign Carvalho and a bid could be launched in the coming days with manager Arsene Wenger keen to add more power and muscle to his midfield.
Van Gaal is also an admirer and is keeping close tabs on activity surround the midfielder, a bidding war is surely set to begin.
