Real Sociedad striker, Carlos Vela has denied that he will return to the Emirates in the summer.

The player left Arsenal three years ago and the Gunners are believed to have a buy-back clause in Vela’s contract.

But, the Mexican has dismissed reports that Arsenal would act upon this clause, claiming that he never settled at the Emirates.

Vela, who scored 11 goals in 62 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, added: “I never felt comfortable in London and I never enjoyed it, however, when I got to Sociedad, I found a place where I was very happy, where I’m enjoying myself every day.

“The English game is very straightforward. Here, the difference is that there are more touches of the ball and that benefits me.”
