Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old Liverpool forward adds further strength to Alan Pardew’s attacking options for the final 14 fixtures of the league campaign.

He is also eligible to play for Albion in the Emirates FA Cup having not featured for the Reds in this year’s competition.

Sturridge has scored 63 goals in 133 appearances for Liverpool. But he has scored just 10 in his last 41 appearances for the club as he has battled injuries.

Sturridge rejected a late approach from Newcastle United to join the Baggies.
