French side Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a whopping bid for Chelsea midielder Oscar as they try and fend off rivals AS Monaco and Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
The Brazilian international has been in fine-form for The Blues all season, but has been over-shadowed by Eden Hazard, who was also attracting interest from PSG, but it appears the Ligue 1 leaders are now ready to go in for Oscar instead.
It is reported that they are ready to make a whopping £40million bid for the midfield-man, and ideally they want the deal wrapped up before the World Cup starts in June in Oscar’s homeland.
The 22-year-old signed for the Premier League side back in 2012 for £25million, and if Chelsea were to sell, they’d want at least £40million for the Brazilian, but Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the playmaker and with three years still left on his current contract, a deal may not happen.
Mourinho has already sold Juan Mata from his side after returning to The Bridge, and if £40million was offered, Oscar may be the next man out of London and Mourinho’s side.
