Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan could be in line to move to the Premier League with Arsenal in the near future, according to his agent, who has revealed his client wants to work with Arsene Wenger.
The Turkish international, has recently signed a new deal in Spain, but according to his agent, a move to England is something that could be on the cards in the future, and despite interest being shown by Manchester United, it is Arsenal who are the favoured destination for the 27-year-old.
Ahmet Bulut, Turan’s agent, has admitted that the player is happy with life in Spain, but if a move to the Premier League was to happen, Arsenal would be the favoured pick due to Wenger being there.
Bulut claimed: “He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England.
“Arda will not leave Atletico. They are part of the title race and he is a key player. Arda plays for a big club and he will be part of Atletico’s success.
“We have received offers from English clubs. However, for now I would like to insist once more that Arda renewed his contract recently and wants to stay at Atletico.”
