Brazilian ISN’T planning on joining friend at FC Barcelona
Philippe Coutinho has responded to Neymar’s comments about his future by confirming that he’s fully focused on Liverpool and not thinking about a potential move to Barcelona.
Neymar was quoted in the media last week saying he’d love to see Coutinho at the Nou Camp because he is good enough to play for the La Liga and European champions.
However, the forward will have to wait to have a reunion with his countryman as Coutinho is adamant that is focus is on Liverpool and not on anyone else.
The midfielder did reveal he was flattered by Neymar’s comments, but insists nothing is in it.
Coutinho Responds to Neymar
“Of course it is a nice thing that he said. Everyone knows he’s my friend but I am here and focused on Liverpool to help them do good things on the pitch, starting with beating Everton.
Neymar’s comments were then followed up by another Brazilian international as Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz warned Brendan Rodgers that he’d lose Coutinho if he doesn’t get the club into the Champions League for next season.
