Roma midfielder, Miralem Pjanic has been highly sought after from the likes of Manchester United and PSG, but Roma president, James Pallotta, has revealed that the player will have the final say on his future.

The Serie A club are willing to extend Pjanic’s stay at the club after top quality performances throughtout the season, but with the World Cup forthcoming, the player could attract even more big names if he were to take these performances into matches in Rio.

Pjanic has one year left on his contract at Roma, and  is attracting serious interest from French club PSG, while Manchester United have also held interest in the player for some time.

Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini earlier this week expressed his confidence that Pjanic will commit to Roma and now the club’s American president has weighed in on the midfielder’s future.

Pallotta told Laroma24.it: “I think Pjanic will remain at Roma. Everything depends on him, but that’s part of the game. With Pjanic, we have already discussed a contract renewal.”
