Arsenal and Liverpool have been told to splash the cash if they want to secure the signing of AC Milan star El Shaarawy in January.

Both Premier League clubs have been monitoring the Italian attacker for months, and are finally ready to make attempts to capture the player once the transfer window opens.

With reports also suggesting that Borussia Dortmund and Roma are both looking at the possibility of signing the winger aswell, El Shaarawy’s agent has warned that only a big-money offer will be enough to tempt Milan into any deal.

Manuel El Shaarawy said: “I have not been contacted by Borussia Dortmund, nor by Roma, nor by any other club.”

“Stephan will not leave Milan in January unless there is a sensational offer, the type that no-one can be sure will arrive.”

“He is at the centre of the Milan project, and the relationship with the Coach and the environment is excellent.”
