EPL team of the week 22 defenders
RB: Jan Bednarek (Southampton).
Bednarek was in great form in Southamptns win against Leicester, 10 man Southampton keep their reseilance in their 2-1 win over Leicester City. The Southampton defender made an amazing goal line clearance which won the game for Rulf Hussenhutle’s team.
CB: David Luiz (Chelsea).
As well as providing a fantastic no look assist for Pedro’s opener for Chelsea, David Luiz made six clearances, two tackles and two interceptions in the Blues’ 2-1 victory over Newcastle.
CB: Fabinho (Liverpool).
After an erratic start to life at Liverpool, Fabinho is slowly growing into an important player for the Reds. Against Brighton, he produced another breath-taking performance at center-half.
LB: Lucas Digne (Everton).
Lucas Digne puts in great week in week out and this weekend the everon left back produced an assist which gave Bournemouth their matching orders.
