Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly eyeing Antonio Conte as their replacement for Unai Emery whose future at the club remains uncertain.
Despite sitting 14 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, their Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid on Tuesday has all but sealed the former Sevilla boss’ exit.
French newspaper L’Équipe, believe that contact has already been established with Chelsea boss Conte, who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The story claims that PSG have held talks with the Italian’s brother, Gianluca, and report that his agent, Federico Pastorello, will be in Paris next Tuesday.
Conte is believed to divide opinion in the French capital, with his tactical awareness highly thought of but his passion on the sidelines perhaps viewed as a hindrance.
But the former Juventus boss would be interested in taking charge at the Parc des Princes for both monetary and competitive reasons, believing he could mould a side capable of winning the Champions League.
