Ligue 1 champions PSG will reportedly have discussions with Juventus about the transfer of Paulo Dybala.
According to the Daily Mail, the Parisians are interested in signing Dybala and will speak to Juve about a €80 million move for the Argentine forward. PSG Sporting Director Leonardo is eager to have a deal finalised by Wednesday.
Dybala has made 182 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining the club from Palermo in 2015 for a transfer fee of €32 million. So far, the 25-year-old has scored 78 goals and has provided 30 assists.
Last season was a disappointing one for the Argentine international as he scored only 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions. There’s a good chance Dybala may not be in the plans of Juve manager Maurizio Sarri.
He was linked to a move to Manchester United but no deal was materialised due to his high wage demands. Spurs were another club who were interested in signing the Argentine.
With the possibility of Neymar leaving, PSG could very much do with someone like Dybala. This could well turn out to be a move that can help the Argentine redeem himself.
