Queens Park Rangers offer Loic Remy new contract

Queens Park Rangers are set to offer striker Loic Remy a new contract in hope that he will stay at the club.

The Frenchman spent last season out on loan at Newcastle United, and has been strongly linked with an exit away from Loftus Road this Summer in order to play in the Champions League.

However, so far, Remy hasn’t been able to complete his transfer away from QPR, despite agreeing terms with Liverpool earlier on in the market.

Remy was all set for an ÂŁ8million move to Anfield, but the striker ended up failing his medical and the move collapsed.

Since then, Remy has been linked with a move to Chelsea, but it now appears that QPR want to try and hold on to the 27-year-old, and are hopeful that he will sign a new deal.
