Ramsey is enjoying a sensational season, netting 13 goals to send The Gunners top of the Premier League.
In recent years, the 22 year-old has been under scrutiny because of inconsistent performances and having to battle to recover following a potentially career ending leg break at Stoke back in 2010.
“I had to overcome the mental side of what I was going through.”
“It was really difficult for me, but you just have to keep trying to believe in yourself and your ability, and that you will show everybody what you are capable of in the end.”
Ramsey is also very excited in his role alongside Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla. He added “It is going really well for me at the moment,”
“Hopefully we can just continue that because you know our form after Christmas has been good over the last few seasons, so hopefully we can get ourselves in that position where we are in a good position to carry on.”
