Real Madrid are contemplating to bring Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germain this summer. The French youngster lit up the World Cup with his antics as France went on to lift the trophy by defeating Croatia.
PSG signed Mbappe on an initial one year loan deal from Monaco following the arrival of Neymar from Barcelona. The French club splashed out a world record £198m to sign the winger but went on for a loan move for Mbappe to comply with the Financial Fairplay (FFP) regulations.
According to reports, Madrid are keeping an eye on the situations and might make an offer to make Mbappe their marquee signings. UEFA are due to announce their judgment on Thursday and PSG’s fate is hanging on by a thread. Should they receive a transfer ban the French club would be forced to let go of one of their prized assets.
Mbappe is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the European circuit and losing him could be a big loss for the French giants. The 19 year old netted 13 times and set up another seven goals last season as PSG were crowned the Ligue 1 champions.
Madrid have been eyeing a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo for long who left the Spanish capital for Juventus and Mbappe could be his ideal successor.
