Midfielder is in high demand for several Premier League giants.
Real Madrid are set to offer £25 million to Borussia Dortmund and lure star man Marco Reus to the Bernabeu.
The German international recently signed a contract extension at Dortmund, which should see him stay there until 2019.
However, the La Liga giants want to offer £25 million to tempt the Bundesliga side, as this was the release clause on Reus’ previous contract.
Carlo Ancelotti is not the only manager interested in the playmaker, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants to bring him to Anfield. The Reds’ are looking ahead to life without their captain Steven Gerrard, who moves to LA Galaxy in the summer.
Injuries have affected Reus’ form
Reus has scored 11 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions this campaign, for both club and country. Despite this, he has suffered an injury hit season. The attacking midfielder has been quite injury prone since missing out on Germany’s 2014 World Cup winning squad.
The 25-year old may want to leave BVB, after the news broke that their long-term and successful manager Jurgen Klopp will leave the club at the end of the season.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Reus and may make a move in the up and coming transfer window.
