Real Madrid are ready to lodge a formal offer for Manchester United starlet, Adnan Januzaj, and are prepared to offer the Premier League side around £23million for the teenager.
The 19-year-old has burst onto the scene at Old Trafford after he was given a chance in the first-team last season under David Moyes, and despite the competition for first-team places, Januzaj is still in the picture at United under Louis Van Gaal.
With the likes of; Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney all fighting for similar positions, it was feared that Januzaj would be facing time away from the first-team, but that hasn’t been the case under Van Gaal.
Despite not starting a single Premier League game, Januzaj has been used as an impact sub, but as his career develops, that may become frustrating for the teenager.
Januzaj, who signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford last October, is one of two wingers that Madrid are looking at, with Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, the other transfer target.
However, the Spanish giants feel Januzaj is the more realistic target with Sterling set for a new bumper deal at Anfield.
