Despite having arguably the best two cemtre-backs in the World Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane in their ranks, Real Madrid have been linked with few of them and one of them is Kostas Manolas.

The 26 year old joined Roma from Olympiacos for an estimated fee of €15 million in 2014. Since then he has amassed 175 appearances for the Giallorossi and proved himself as one of the best defenders in the world.

His displays has attracted interest from many top European clubs this summer. But the Italian side considers him as one of their most valuable assets and were determined to keep hold of him after losing Alisson Becker.

Despite that the centre-back has been on radar of the Spanish side and it has been suggested that they could move for him in the near future.

He added: “I don’t know. I can’t say that myself. I am a competitive player and I like to give everything. That I can say.”

The defender has made 3 appearances so far this season, with the tam winning only 1 game out of the 4.
