Legend believes title is for taking at Anfield
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has stated that Chelsea will win the league if they beat Liverpool at Anfield next week.
Antonio Conte’s side are 1o points ahead of Liverpool at the top of the table.
However, neither side has had European football this season, which Carragher believes has helped them both.
“I think if Chelsea win that, they are probably there,” he said on Sky Sports.
“I think what Conte has done is unbelievable, coming in in his first season.
“I think the big advantage is with no Europe, as with Liverpool.
“It will be interesting to see what happens next season when they will have more games.”
Chelsea are set to return to the Champions League after a one-year absence next season.
But fourth-placed Liverpool face a fight to qualify for Europe’s elite competition.
