QPR have accepted an official £8.5m bid from Liverpoll for their French striker Loic Remy.
It is understood that Remy is now travelling to Merseyside as we speak to discuss personal terms and agree a deal to bring himself to Anfield next season.
Remy has a release clause in his contract that states he can talk to any club that is entered in the Champions League, and will agree a five-year deal at Liverpool.
The 27-year-old scored 14 times in 26 games for Newcastle last season during a productive loan spell, but he was never interested in making that move permanent.
Arsenal and Tottenham expressed an interest in Remy but Liverpool made their move this week and are now set to conclude the deal swiftly.
