The Reds are known to be long admirers of the German winger and have been heavily linked with him all summer.
Reus is not expected to leave the Signal Iduna until 2015 when his release clause changes to £27million, but his agent Dirk Hebel has already started talking about a potential move away.
Hebel told Bild: “Marco would make any big European team stronger.
“That’s why it’s completely normal that a number of these major European teams are interested in signing him.”
The 25 year-old is currently still suffering from an ankle injury he picked up, leaving him out of the World Cup and could keep him out of the start of the new season however the demand for the winger is still very high with Manchester United also interested.
